I have just received this testimonial for this course and did want to share...
Meditation Through Writing.
An online course with Fiona Doubleday.
This course could not have come at a better time for me. Recuperating from serious illness, I was looking for a focus to help me come to terms with what had happened to me and what the implications were in my daily life.
The course itself is easy to follow and because it is online there are no specific deadlines which is perfect for me. This means I can work through the material in my own time and get feedback from Fiona when I feel I need it, knowing that all I have to do is email.
I love the journalling which is a major part of the course for me. This gives me a chance to think things out on paper, be creative with drawing and writing and experiment with colour as a guide to understanding.
I find it very soothing and easy to find my centre in the meditation exercises, again I can choose my time when I practice which fits in well with my overall programme of reading, planning my garden and resting as well as doing short meditations every day on Headspace.
I would recommend Meditation through Writing in a heartbeat to anyone who is ready to slow down, explore writing and working with colour, using the techniques as a starting point for gentle meditation.
They say that meditation changes your mind and you can work on this deliberately. Fionaʼs
course has been a great tool so far. I already find that my mind is changing how it looks at things I have otherwise taken for granted and I look forward to continuing the process in the next few months. I feel excited about the possibilities and glad that I undertook this work at this point in time.

Meditation through Writing
Fiona Doubleday
This six month course
offers a unique fusion between meditation and writing as practice. It is an online course. Once a month a PDF will drop into the
inbox of those taking the course and the participants will explore meditation and writing exercise with the
aim of deepening practice and releasing new pathways. During each month extension exercises will be
outlined and participants may choose which ones and how many they do. A closed forum will be set up for people to
share their experiences and outcomes.
This is a gentle course that will massage the soul and allow the inner
voice to speak. Thus, it is deliberately
creative and therapeutic at the same time.
All feedback from the course will be greatly appreciated as this is the
first offering and this feedback will help shape future teachings.
